Since 20019, Doug Chivington has dedicated his personal time to partner with Veteran nonprofit organizations raising awareness and funding for combat veterans who may have TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries) and/or PTSD.  

The Chivington family is a military family and have much to be thankful for!   Since 2004 two of their sons have been deployed four separate times.    On one deployment, their oldest son experienced a serious combat injury resulting in nearly two years of rehabilitation.

The Chivington Family have created an organization called “Team Chivington”.   Their mission is to raise awareness and funding for our returning combat veterans who still need our support.

On Thursday June 17 thru Friday June 18, 2021, Team Chivington will be attempting in 3 different age group cycling records recognized by the World Ultra Cycling Association.  This event will also be a fundraiser for the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program which is an adaptive sport specific for wounded veterans!
