Chicago, Illinois – The USA Warriors Hockey, Inc. standing team travels to Chicago, Illinois this weekend for a busy weekend that includes three games and a clinic in Chicago and the surrounding areas.

On Friday the USA Warriors start the weekend off by facing Team Mayhem All-Stars for the fourth straight year. The game will take place at Rocket Ice Arena in Bolingbrook, Illinois at 9:10pm. The game will include a raffle for a signed Patrick Kane jersey and a USA Warriors jersey. Raffle tickets will go for $10 but attendance is free. All profits collected from the raffle will benefit the USA Warriors program.

On Saturday the USA Warriors face the Chicago Blackhawk Warriors at Mt. Prospect Arena in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. The game will take place at 11:10am.

Following the game against the Blackhawk Warriors the USA Warriors will travel to McFetridge Ice Arena in Chicago, Illinois for the Hockey Has Heroes Youth Clinic in partnership with Hockey On Your Block.  This weekend’s clinic will be the second annual edition of the clinic and the Warrior program hopes this partnership continues into a yearly event.

On Sunday the USA Warriors will head to the home of the Chicago Blackhawks, the United Center, to face Illinois Congressman Mike Quigley and the Quigley All-Stars at 7:30am.

“It is an honor to join the USA Warriors on the ice for another game this weekend,” said Rep. Quigley, who serves as co-chair of the Congressional Hockey Caucus. “The USA Warriors hockey players are fierce competitors with a love for the game that goes unmatched, and I always appreciate the opportunity to see their spirit, determination, and passion firsthand.”

The Warriors will get to attend the Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild morning skate following their game with the Quigley All-Stars thanks to a generous offer from the Blackhawks organization.

“We have always been able to count on the Chicago Blackhawks and Congressman Quigley to support our mission to honor our nation's heroes,” said standing team operations director Jeff Woods. “They are great representatives of the people of Chicago and have helped create once in a lifetime experiences for these men and women. Thank you.”

The Warriors will also be attending the Blackhawks game later Sunday evening thanks to the Blackhawks organization.

The USA Warriors would like to thank the Hyatt Regency Chicago for being gracious and accommodating hosts during this weekend trip to such a wonderful city. The program looks forward to returning to the Hyatt Regency Chicago for future trips to the city.

Members of the media are invited to any and all of this weekend’s activities involving the warriors. Please contact Jeff Woods in advance if you would like to join the program at the United Center. jwoods@usawarriorshockey.org or 571-235-4684.
